May we present the very delicious Seafood in Creamy White Sauce served with Deep Fried Mantou. Yum, yum, yum!
This simple recipe will you a delectable seafood treat accompanied by juicy button mushrooms and packed with creamy filling. Served with delicious Figo deep fried Mantou, this savory and creamy pot pie makes a wonderful light meal to be enjoyed anytime of the day!
Preparation time: 15 minutes
Cooking time: 20 minutes
For Cream Sauce:
|4 tbsp||butter (melted)|
|½ cup||chicken stock|
|½ cup||whipping cream|
|A pinch of salt & pepper|
For Seafood Filling:
|4||button mushrooms, sliced|
|½ packet||Figo Steamboat 5 in 1|
|1/8 tsp||dried thyme|
|Salt & pepper|
|½ packet||Figo Mantou-plain, deep fried (6 pieces)|
- Heat oil in a frying pan to sauté onions, followed by Figo Steamboat 5 in 1. Cook for about 2 minutes then add in salt, pepper and thyme.
- Then in another saucepan, cook the butter and flour; slowly add in chicken stock and cream. Mix till smooth. Season with salt and pepper.
- Mix all the cream sauce filling into the seafood filling and stir well. Spoon the filling into a casserole. Serve hot with deep fried Figo Mantou.
