Chinese New Year is always a time to enjoy all those classic desserts! Widely regarded as a staple treat during the Dongzhi (Winter Solstice) festival, Tong Yuen traditionally symbolises family togetherness.
Besides being made with glutinous rice flour, this version of Tong Yuen has the added twist of using 3 types of nuts. Enjoy different textures with salted peanut, pistachio nut, & black sesame seed.
