These crunchy morsels of goodness are hearty and delicious, with a base of muesli topped with a luxurious coating of chocolate. They are great for munching on among family and friends.
For this recipe we use QL Omega eggs, which are low in cholesterol and high in taste and flavour. You can find QL Omega eggs at all good supermarkets and hypermarkets.
|175 g||unsalted butter|
|100 g||caster sugar|
|1||large QL Omega egg|
|175 g||self-raising flour|
|175 g||muesli, ground|
|200 g||cooking chocolate, melted|
- Place soft butter, sugar, QL Omega egg and flour into a large bowl and beat together until well blended and smooth.
- Mix in the muesli.
- Spoon about 25 teaspoonfuls of the mixture onto baking trays lined with parchment paper, leaving 5-cm space in between for the cookies to spread.
- Bake in preheated oven at 180C for 10-15minutes or until golden brown. Transfer onto a wire rack to cool.
- To finish, dip half of each cookie into melted chocolate.
